WOW! I don’t even know where to begin. This is so wrong, on so many different levels. What a slap in the face to any parent! Can you believe the audacity of this principal? Apparently, she thinks that we’re just too stupid to make intelligent decisions – our own choices – about what our kids eat. Well, she does put a slight spin on it, pointing out that, “her intention is to protect the students from their own unhealthful food choices”. Right. The students. Totally surreal – doesn’t this just seem like something taken right out of some conspiracy theorist’s manifesto, where government is dictating our choices in order to “protect us from ourselves”.
Can you believe how long this has gone on?

Judging by all of the comments from the parents and children, it sure doesn’t look like that was the case now does it…?
It’s not bad enough that whether we utilize the service or not (private school, anyone?), we are forced to pay for it, but talk about adding insult to injury – now some of them want to take away our freedom of choice?
