Homemade whipped cream is so easy to make and the taste is indescribable. Once you’ve tried this, you will most likely never use store-bought again.
Homemade Whipped Cream
Things you will need:
1 pint of well-chilled (not frozen) heavy whipping cream
1 – 2 tsp of vanilla
1 – 3 tbsp of sugar (to taste)
Now let’s get started:
Add cream to chilled mixing bowl
Blend on high until soft peaks form (tips curl)
Add vanilla and sugar
Continue mixing until firm peaks form (when you lift the beaters, the tips stand up)
! (be careful not to over-beat unless you want sweetened, flavored butter) !
Chill the mixing bowl in the freezer for quicker results.
Start the hand mixer on low speed, and gradually increase the speed to prevent splatter.
